Summary:
Barron Electric Cooperative (BEC) offers the Customized Energy Incentive Program for their commercial, industrial, and agricultural members to save energy by replacing old equipment with more energy efficient models. Rebates are available for lighting, a variety of agricultural equipment, motors, and air conditioning units. Additional custom rebates may also be available. A list of qualifying technologies and rebate amounts, as well as the rebate application, can be found on the program website. BEC also partners with Dairyland Power Cooperative to conduct a discounted energy audit for interested business or farm members. The maximum incentive is $10,000 per customer, not to exceed 20% of equipment cost. Rebates are available based upon energy audit findings. Contact BEC for more information on this program.
