The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Port Angeles Public Works and Utilities provides incentives for business customers to increase the energy efficiency of eligible facilities. Rebates are offered for a variety of improvements including increased insulation levels, installation of energy efficient commercial appliances, lighting retrofits, and custom projects. To qualify, the work must be completed by a City Authorized Contractor. To participate, interested customers must first fill out a rebate application located on the program web site. For detailed information on specific rebates look at the Commercial Energy Conservation Rebate Brochure and Commercial Appliance Rebate Brochure provided by the program.
