| Installation Requirements: | Lighting projects require a pre-installation inspection/review to confirm existing fixtures by a Benton PUD representative prior to installation. Projects must show at least a 25% wattage reduction, and have a simple payback of one year or more. Work must be complete within 120 days from Benton PUD approved date.
Custom/Agriculture Projects: Written approval from Benton PUD is necessary before any measures are taken

Summary:
Benton PUD offers a variety of incentives to non-residential customers for energy efficiency improvements. Projects are available for commercial customers interested in energy efficient lighting and custom projects that improve efficiency or process related systems such as compressed air, variable frequency drives and refrigeration. Rebates are also available to agricultural customers for making energy improvements to sprinkling systems. The Low Flow Pre-Rinse Spray Rebate also provides for complimentary installations of energy efficient low-flow pre rinse spray washers for Benton PUD business customers with electric water heaters. The Commercial Energy Efficiency Deemed Project Program offers incentives for sprinklers, irrigation hardware, nozzles, and replacement of 25 to 500 horsepower pump motors and special projects.
