Summary:
Benton PUD offers residential customers a variety of rebates when they purchase qualifying energy efficient appliances and when they make certain weatherization improvements. Appliance rebates are available for Energy Star clothes washers, and refrigerators, and energy efficient hot water heaters. The rebate application must be completed and turned in within 90 days of product purchase. Customers who recycle an old refrigerator or freezer can recieve an additional $15 rebate. In order to qualify for the rebate the refrigerator or freezer must be at least ten cubic feet, and in working condition.
Benton PUD also offers incentives for HVAC equipment and weatherization measures including heat pumps, ductless heat pumps, duct sealing, and insulation. Visit the program website or contact Benton PUD directly for more information.
