Amount:Air Source Heat Pump: $100
Variable Speed Motor: $100
Water Heater: $30
Replacement of Electric Straight Resistance: $750
Floor and Wall Insulation: $0.50/sq. ft.
Attic and Ceiling Insulation: $0.25/sq. ft.
Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling: $30
ENERGY STAR rated homes: $650
Maximum Incentive:Incentives will not exceed 50% of the actual measure cost
Equipment Requirements:Air Source Heat Pump: 8.5 HSPF, 14 SEER minimum (7.7 HSPF, 13 SEER minimum for manufactured homes)
Water Heater: .93 EF minimum
Insulation: Must increase the R value by R10 or greater
Other equipment: Must meet the efficiency requirements on the program website
Installation Requirements:Replacement of Electric Straight Resistance (electric forced air furnace or electric baseboard heat) as Primary Heat: Can be replaced with an electric heat pump or an efficient gas central heating system.
