|Equipment Requirements:||Air Source Heat Pump: 8.5 HSPF, 14 SEER minimum (7.7 HSPF, 13 SEER minimum for manufactured homes)|
Water Heater: .93 EF minimum
Insulation: Must increase the R value by R10 or greater
Other equipment: Must meet the efficiency requirements on the program website
|Installation Requirements:||Replacement of Electric Straight Resistance (electric forced air furnace or electric baseboard heat) as Primary Heat: Can be replaced with an electric heat pump or an efficient gas central heating system. |
Avista Utilities Home Improvement and New Home Construction programs offer a variety of incentives encouraging residential customers to save energy in their homes. The rebates listed apply to residential homeowners in Washington who heat homes primarily with Avista electricity or natural gas. Incentives vary depending on technology, and generally apply to both existing and new construction homes.
