The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Puget Sound Energy (PSE) offers incentives for multifamily retrofit projects. In order to participate, buildings must be be 5 or more attached units and located in the PSE electric or natural gas service territory.

PSE’s Multifamily Program incentives include a range of measures aimed at assisting existing multifamily buildings. There are prescriptive rebates for equipment such as windows, insulation, light fixtures, water heaters, furnaces, and heat pumps. Other custom and commercial prescriptive energy efficient upgrades may be available. Interested customers should contact a program representative for further information.

Certain other equipment may also be installed free of charge by a PSE representative including LED bulbs, showerheads, aerators, smart strips, water heater pipe insulation, refrigerators, and clothes washers.
