The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Chelan County PUD - Residential Weatherization Rebate Program

Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Duct/Air sealing, Building Insulation, Windows, Doors
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Multi-Family Residential
Amount:Windows/Patio Doors: $3 per square foot installed
Wall/Floor Insulation: $0.25 per square foot if existing insulation is R-5 or less
Ceiling/Attic Insulation: $0.25 per square foot if existing insulation is R-19 or less
Maximum Incentive:$2,500
Equipment Requirements:Wall/Floor/Ceiling/Attic Insulation: Must increase R-value by at least R-10
Installation Requirements:Replaced windows and patio doors must be single-pane or double-pane with a metal frame and rated by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)
Replacement Windows: U-factor of .30 or lower
Replacement Doors: U-factor of .35 or lower
Insulation: Must increase insulation level by R-10 or greater
Insulation must be installed only where cavities separate conditioned from unconditioned areas
Work may be inspected by Chelan County PUD

Summary:

Chelan County PUD offers cash rebates to residential customers who make energy efficient weatherization improvements to eligible homes. Eligible measures include efficient windows doors as well as insulation for walls, floors, ceilings, and attics. All standards specified by Chelan County PUD must be met in order to receive rebate. Offer applies to existing single and multi-family homes of up to four units in Chelan County with electric heat. Application must be submitted within 90 days of completed work. The maximum incentive amount per address is $2,500. Customers who complete work without a licensed contractor will be subject to a mandatory inspection of installed measures. The square footage of measures, U-factor ratings, and cost must be itemized on the invoice and rebate form. Incentives are paid directly to customer by check.
