The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Energy Star Certified Homes Bonus Rebate: $100 - $600
Equipment Requirements:Air-Source Electric Heat Pump: Must be rated at least SEER 14 and HSPF 8.5
Ground-Source Electric Heat Pump: COP 3 or higher
Water Heater: .94 EF minimum
Clothes Washer 2.2 MEF minimum
All appliances must be Energy Star rated

The Build with Energy Star Program from Snohomish County PUD No 1 is designed to encourage builders to include energy-efficient measures in new homes being built in Snohomish County and on Camano Island. Rebates are for heat pumps, ENERGY STAR clothes washers and ENERGY STAR refrigerators. The program also includes a $300 rebate for an advanced lighting package: if 80 percent of the installed light fixtures are ENERGY STAR rated.  Contact Snohomish PUD No 1 or see web site listed above for additional information.
