Summary:
Grays Harbor PUD works with local lending institutions to provide low-interest loans to customers for energy efficiency projects. A Preliminary Audit of the home is required before proceeding with projects. Rebate/loan applications must be submitted to the PUD prior to any work being done. The primary source of heat in your home must be electric in order to qualify for loans or rebates under this program. Check guidelines under each type of project for specific eligibility criteria. A customer may qualify for assistance on a maximum of one heat pump project, one insulation project, and one windows project per residence in any 365-day period.
The interest rates for these loans are subsidized by the PUD. Rates depend on market conditions, and in some cases, on credit history. Interested members can contact the PUD for the current rates. The maximum total outstanding loan amount per customer for combined projects is $20,000. Visit the program website for more information.
