The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Solar Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. Equipment Requirements:New Windows: NFRC rating of .30 or less
New Patio Doors: NFRC rating of .35 or less
Water Heaters: Must have an EF of .93 or higher and be set on a 2-inch thick insulation pad
Heat Pumps: Must pass the "PTCS" certification criteria
Clothes Washer: Energy Star

Summary:

Vera Irrigation District #15 offers several rebates to electric customers who purchase and install energy efficient measures. Rebates are available for water heaters, windows, heat pumps, clothes washer, duct sealing and appliance recycling. All efficiency standards must be met in order to receive water heater or window rebates. Window rebates are based on the square footage replaced. Vera Irrigation District also provides a $450 rebate for the installation of energy efficient heat pumps while ductless heat pumps are eligible incentives of up to $1,500.  For further information on any of these rebate offers, visit the program website or contact the utility.
