Summary:
Snohomish County PUD No 1 offers financial incentives to help offset the cost of non-residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of facilities. Commercial customers can receive rebates between $200 and $2,000 for purchasing energy efficient commercial cooking equipment, and up to $15,000 for certain replacement lighting projects. Commercial, industrial, school, non-profit, or governmental buildings in Snohomish County can also receive cash incentives for any custom new construction measures or custom measures in existing facilities which reduce energy usage. Snohomish County PUD will provide between $0.15 and $0.25 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) annual first-year project savings up to a maximum of 70% of the total project cost. Customers may also receive cash incentives for implementing upgraded insulation, appliances, HVAC measures and lighting measures as part of the Multi-Unit Conservation Program Examples of funded projects include:

- Motors, Pumps & Fans
- Refrigeration
- Heat Recovery Systems & Controls
- Variable Frequency Drives
Snohomish County PUD No 1 also offers the Energy Smart Grocer Rebate Program for grocery stores, convenient stores, and other facilities with commercial refrigeration. The program offers a free complete energy analysis of the facility's refrigeration and then offers custom rebates based on the results.
