Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Furnaces , Duct/Air sealing, Building Insulation, Windows, Tankless Water Heaters
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Multi-Family Residential
Amount:Energy Star Gas Storage Water Heater: $50
Energy Star Gas Tankless Water Heater: $300
High Efficiency Gas Furnace: $300
High Efficiency Windows (Replacement): $1/sq. ft.
Attic and Floor Insulation (Replacement): $0.30/sq. ft.
Duct Insulation (Replacement): $200 - $250/site
Equipment Requirements:Energy Star Gas Storage Water Heater: EF 0.62
Energy Star Gas Tankless Water Heater: EF 0.82
High Efficiency Gas Furnace: AFUE at least 90%
Windows: Energy Star (North-Central); U-value of 0.32; SHGC of 0.40
Attic and Floor Insulation: Increments of R-19 or higher
Duct Sealing: PTCS and Trade Ally compliant contractor installation ($200); R-6 or higher and Trade Ally compliant contractor installation ($250)

Summary:

Columbia Gas of Virginia offers rebates to residential customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficient appliances and equipment. Water heaters, furnaces, windows, insulation and duct sealing are available for cash rebates. All efficiency and performance requirements must be met in order to receive rebate. Some installation requirements also apply. All application and information forms are available on the program web site. Mail-in rebate applications should be sent to the address listed below.
