The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Entergy Texas - Energy Star Homes Program for Builders

Amount:Single-Family Homes - Tier I (ENERGY STAR V-2.0): $150 per home
Single-Family Homes - Tier II (ENERGY STAR V-2.5): $300 per home
Attached Homes: 50% of single-family incentive per housing unit
Advanced Lighting Package: $50 per single-family home
ENERGY STAR V-3.0 HVAC Check Lists: $150 per single-family home
Equipment Requirements:Homes must be Energy Star certified, 85 or lower score on HERS index, and at least 15% more efficient than the International Residential Conservation Code (IECC) 2006.

Entergy Texas offers an incentive to builders in its service territory for the construction of Energy Star certified homes. The efficiency requirements can be met through a combination of insulation measures, efficient windows, air sealing, efficient HVAC equipment, duct sealing, etc. Builders receive up to $300 for each Energy Star Certified home, plus an additional $50 if the home also includes the Advanced Lighting Package (ALP). Additionally, attached homes are eligible for rebates based on square footage of the home. Rebate payments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis for homes that have submitted the application and proper documentation to the utility.
