Summary:
NOTE: Available funding for fiscal year 2012 has been exhausted for the CoServ Solar PV Rebate Program.
CoServ Electric Cooperative provides a variety of "Think Green Rebates" to its members, including a solar energy rebate. The solar photovoltaic (PV) system must be less than or equal to 50 kW, but the rebate is available only on the first 2.5 kW. Customers must sign an interconnection agreement (with net metering) for on-site generation with CoServ. It should be noted that any excess generation from the system will be given to CoServ, so it is important to size the system appropriately to avoid this situation. Interested customers are encouraged to contact the utility for more details before making investment decisions.
