Summary:
The Government Facilities Program was developed to provide viable energy efficiency and demand reduction solutions for city and county owned and operated facilities. As part of the Government Facilities Program, participating cities and counties will identify opportunities within their areas and develop an energy master plan so that they can take the best approach toward reducing energy costs. Lowering the demand for energy eases budget pressures and provides infrastructure improvements. Participating cities and counties schools will receive assistance with benchmarking, training, and incentives for improving the energy efficiency of facilities by installing more efficient equipment. Additionally, educational facilities are eligible for the same incentives under the Educational Facilities Program. This offering is available to K-12 schools and colleges. Contact the program administrator for additional information.
