Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Heat pumps, Air conditioners, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Geothermal Heat Pumps
Applicable Sectors: Residential
Incentive Amount:Water Heater replacing electric: $50
Water heater replacing gas: $200
Geothermal Heat Pump: $100 for installation
Heat Pump replacing gas: $100
Equipment Requirements:Heat Pump: minimum 13 SEER package or 13 SEER split with HSPF 7.7 or higher rating (one per dwelling)
Tank water heaters (limit of one per dwelling every five years)

Summary:
Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation offers incentives for its residential customers to inhabit energy efficient homes. A rebate is available for customers who build new Energy Star qualified homes. Rebates are also offered for qualifying heat pumps and electric water heaters.
