The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Solar Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in the summer of 2014. Amount:Up to $1,900
Equipment Requirements:Homes must meet the efficiency guidelines set by the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga’s energy right program. In general, the guidelines call for properly installed duct work, insulation and caulking.

Summary:

The Electric Power Board of Chattanooga, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers an incentive to builders and developers of single-family and multi-family homes to build energy efficient homes which meet the energy right Program guidelines.
