The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Solar Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in the summer of 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new DSIRE and are unfortunately only able to make minimal updates to the DSIRE website at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for using DSIRE.

Summary:
PPL Electric Utilities offers rebates and incentives for commercial and industrial products installed in their service area. The program offers rebates for lighting, heat pumps, refrigeration measures, fans and many other options. Equipment rebates apply to leased or owned buildings. Rebates are designed to reimburse commercial customers for about 50% of the added cost for buying high efficiency equipment. Occupancy sensors, LED exit signs, and T5 and T8 fluorescents are the most popular pieces of equipment purchased through this program. Lamp incentives are administered through bulb manufacturers and retailers who sell the bulbs at a reduced price and bill PPL Electric Utilities for the remainder of the cost.

Rebates are retro-active to June 1, 2013. Follow all instructions and guidelines in order to receive rebates. The program is subject to change and availability of funding.
