The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. PECO Energy (Gas) – Heating Efficiency Rebate Program

Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Furnaces , Boilers
Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Multi-Family Residential
Amount:High efficiency boiler: $300
High efficiency furnace: $300
Natural Gas Storage Tank Water Heater: $50
Residential Gas Heat Conversion: $200
Commercial Gas Heat Conversion: $500 (less than 50,000 sq ft of heating space); $1,000 (50,000 + sq.ft of heating space
Equipment Requirements:Furnaces, Boilers and Water Heaters: must be ENERGY STAR qualified
Water Heaters: Business customers not eligible
Furnaces: Must have a 95% or greater AFUE rating; fan efficiency of less than or equal to 2%; air leakage less than 2%
Boilers: Must have an 85% or greater AFUE rating
Storage tank water heaters: Must have an EF of 0.67 or greater
Installation Requirements:Conversions and replacements eligible

The PECO Smart Natural Gas Efficiency Upgrade Program offers rebates and incentives to commercial or residential customers that install an ENERGY STAR qualified high-efficiency natural gas furnace or boiler, and to residential customers who install an ENERGY STAR qualified storage tank water heater. The program is available to PECO natural gas customers in the natural gas service area of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. All equipment must meet program efficiency requirements. Fuel switching rebates may also be available to eligible PECO customers. Appliances for use in new construction are not eligible for this program.
