The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Lane Electric Cooperative - Residential Efficiency Rebate Program

Eligible Renewable/Other Technologies: Geothermal Heat Pumps
Applicable Sectors: Residential
Amount:ENERGY Star Clothes Washer: $75
Duct Sealing: $300 - $500
Heat Pumps: $1,000
Energy Star Home: $1,000
Equipment Requirements:ENERGY Star Clothes Washer: must qualify under ENERGY Star guidelines.
Heat Pumps: minimum HSPF of 9.0and a SEER of 14.0
Installation Requirements:All equipment/appliances must be installed in a permanent residence served by Lane Electric Cooperative.

Lane Electric Cooperative provides rebates for clothes washers, duct sealing measures, heat pumps, and newly constructed Energy Star Homes. Energy Star clothes washers must be used in conjunction with an electric dryer to qualify for the rebate. Lane Electric Cooperative must receive the necessary application forms in order to be eligible for rebate. Rebates for heat pumps and Energy Star Homes are $1,000. Eligible heat pumps include new air source heat pumps, replacement air source heat pumps, and geothermal units. Rebates for heat pumps must be applied for within 30 days of system installation. Expect pre- and post-authorization by Lane Electric's Energy Services Department.
