The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Equipment Requirements:Clothes Washer: Energy Star labeled, EF at least 2.0; WF 6.0 or less
Refrigerator/Freezer: Energy Star labeled, 7.75 cubic feet or larger; 10% more energy efficient than NAECA standard
Water Heaters: 50-80 gallon capacity; Minimum EF 0.91 - .94, depending on size
Refrigerator/Freezer Decommissioning: receipt from Western Oregon Waste or proof of Decommissioning/Recycling, 10 cubic feet or larger, unit must be in working condition
Energy Star Homes: Must be 15% more efficient than specified in Oregon State Energy code, 50% of light fixtures/sockets must be Energy Star, Energy Star dishwasher required

McMinnville Water and Light (MWL) offers rebates on energy efficient homes, appliances and equipment to residential customers. Rebates are valid on refrigerators, freezers, clothes washer, dishwashers, water heaters, refrigerator and freezer decommissioning, weatherization measures and Energy Star Homes.  A heat pump tune-up program is also offered. All appropriate program information including application forms, can be found on the web site listed above. All purchased equipment must meet program requirements in order to be eligible for rebates.
