The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

CenterPoint Energy (Gas) - Residential Efficiency Rebates

Hydronic Heating System: $300
Back-up Furnace: $125-$175
Storage Water Heater: $50
Tankless: $250
Equipment Requirements:Primary Furnace: 90% AFUE or higher
Back-up Furnace: 80% AFUE or higher
Hydronic Heating System: 82% AFUE
Direct Vent Wall Furnace: 80% AFUE
Storage Water Heaters: .62 EF or greater
Tankless Water Heaters: .80 EF or greater

To encourage customers to install high-efficiency natural gas equipment in eligible homes and businesses, CenterPoint Energy offers new construction and retrofit residential and commercial customers rebates on furnace, water heating, or space heating systems.  All purchased equipment must meet program requirements for energy efficiency. Commercial customers can also receive incentives up to $1,000 for efficient food service equipment and significant rebates for boilers and boiler components. Contact CenterPoint Energy for additional information on this program.
