The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Beginning in 2010, homeowners in Oklahoma City are eligible for energy efficiency loans up to $10,000. Residents must have an annual income of $100,000 or less and must repay the loan within 36 months. Homes cannot be located within a flood zone, and the property title must be in the name of the person who is applying for the loan. The location for the improvements must be the applicant's primary residence. In order to qualify, homeowners must have an audit performed on their home.

The loan program is administered through the city's Community Action Agency. Apply by calling the Agency at (405) 232-0199.
