The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Amount:Room Air Conditioner: $50
Electric Water Heaters: $50 - $199
Geothermal Heat Pumps (new): $300/ton
Geothermal Heat Pumps (replacement): $150/ton
Air-source/Dual Fuel Heat Pumps: $150/ton
Equipment Requirements:Replacement Water Heaters: .90 efficiency rating minimum
Dual Fuel/Air Source Heat Pumps: Energy Star rated; SEER/EER value of 16.5 or greater
Geothermal Heat Pumps (replacing existing geothermal heat pump): SEER/EER 19.1 or greater AND gain at least 3 SEER/EER point over old unit

Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative (VVEC) offers rebates for residential customers who purchase energy efficient home equipment. Rebates are available for room air conditioners, electric water heaters, and heat pumps. All equipment must be Energy Star rated, and meet certain energy efficiency standards listed on the program web site. Rebate applications are located on the program web site and must be submitted within 90 days of equipment purchase date. Contact VVEC for more information on this program.
