Summary:

Butler Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. provides low interest loans (3%) for members to make energy efficiency improvements in eligible homes. There is a $15 application fee for all loans plus additional closing costs (typically under $100). No work that is to be paid for by loan funds should be done before the loan is approved. The loan is paid back monthly via the member's utility bill. See the program web site listed above for additional details and requirements.
