The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Amount:6.99% fixed rate for Whole Home loans; loan term of 10 years
9.99% fixed rate for Improvement Specific loans
Loans available from $2,500 - $20,000
100% financing available
Rebates up to 50% are also available with the loan

Summary:

The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance provides loans for single family residencies and owner occupied duplexes in Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties in Ohio and Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in Kentucky. To qualify for loans, homeowners must receive a Home Performance with Energy Star energy assessment, which is provided at a discount price through Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance. In the post-assessment report, homeowners can review what energy efficiency upgrades are available and apply for either a Whole Home loan or an Improvement Specific loan from $1,000 - $20,000 on upgrades such as:

  • Envelope air sealing

  • Insulation

  • Ductwork air sealing

  • HVAC

  • Water heaters

  • Appliances

  • Windows/doors/skylights

  • Lighting.
