Equipment Requirements:Must be SRCC rated OG-300
Installation Requirements:Must be installed an eligible, fully licensed Nevada C-1, C-1(d), and C-37 contractor.

Summary:

NV Energy is providing an incentive for its residential customers to install solar water heaters on their homes. As of May 1, 2012, NV Energy electric customers in Southern Nevada who own their homes are eligible for a rebate of 50% of the installed cost of the system up to $2,250. NV Energy has a similar program for their electric and gas customers in Northern Nevada.

Customers interested in participating must first reserve their application before commencing with the installation. For 2012, NV Energy will approve the first 108 complete applications it receives from its southern Nevada electric customers. All participants must surrender their portfolio energy credits (PECs) to NV Energy. NV Energy will use the PECs to comply with Nevada's Energy Portfolio Standard.
