Southwest Gas Corporation - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Maximum Incentive:Appliances: Maximum of 2 units per equipment type per customer. Weatherization: 1 rebate per type per customer
Rebate amount cannot exceed 75% of the purchase and installation cost of weatherization measures.
Equipment Requirements:Tankless Water Heater: ENERGY STAR qualified
Clothes Dryer: Moisture sensor installed
Furnace: AFUE 95% (Northern NV Only)
Windows must be installed by program authorized contractors.

Summary:

Southwest Gas Corporation (SWG) offers rebates to residential customers in Nevada who purchase energy efficient natural gas tankless water heaters, clothes dryers, windows and smart low-flow showerheads. Furnaces are also available to customers living in the northern SWG service area, however customers must fill out a separate application which can be found on the program web site. All equipment must meet program requirements for efficiency. The offer is limited to two of each qualifying measure per customer, per calendar year. A rebate form may be found on the program web site listed above. Rebates are available for purchases made January 1, 2013 through November 30, 2013 or until program funds are no longer available, whichever comes first. Applications must be postmarked within 60 days of purchase or by December 15, 2013, whichever comes first. Customers will need to include a signed rebate application, SWG gas account number, copy of sales receipt or invoice stating place and date of purchase, brand and model number. Appliances must be installed and functioning to receive rebate. Please note that weatherization products must be installed by program authorized contractors.
