The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Equipment Insulation, Water Heaters, Chillers , Furnaces , Boilers, Heat recovery, Programmable Thermostats, Duct/Air sealing, Building Insulation, Custom/Others pending approval, Food Service Equipment, Tankless Water Heaters
Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Schools, Local Government, Multi-Family Residential, Institutional
Amount:Multifamily Buildings: 50% of installed cost
Small Commercial/Industrial: Up to 50% of installed cost
Large Commercial/Industrial: 50% of installed cost
New Equipment/Construction: Up to 75% of incremental cost
Maximum Incentive:Multifamily Buildings: $50,000/master meter
Small Commercial/Industrial: $50,000/master meter
Large Commercial/Industrial: $50,000/master meter
New Equipment/Construction: 75% of incremental cost

Unitil offers rebates for all non residential gas customers: commercial, industrial, institutional, educational, multifamily, or municipal facilities within the Unitil service territory. Incentives are available for both large and small customers, as well as new construction and retrofit projects. Projects incentives are generally capped at $50,000 per master metered account and all program guidelines must be met in order to qualify. Additional measures not listed here may be eligible for custom rebates. Customers should contact Unitil to ensure that projects do not require pre-approval. Contact Unitil’s gas utility representative for the latest program details.
