The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Amount:Air-Source Heat Pump: $25 (14 SEER and above)
Geothermal Heat Pump: $250
Heat Pump Water Heater: $200
Maximum Incentive:Refrigerators/Freezer Recycling: Limit of two appliances per year

Carteret Craven Electric Cooperative (CCEC) offers a variety of energy efficiency incentives to residential customers. Rebates are available on air-source heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and geothermal heat pumps. All appliances must be Energy Star in order to qualify for the program. CCEC can also assist customers through a $100 energy audit; the cost of which will be half refunded if measures suggested by the audit are pursued.  A weatherization assistance program is also available to aid income-qualified customers in sealing and weatherizing their homes through Coastal Community Action.
