Summary:
Independence Power and Light offers rebates to builders for constructing new, energy efficient homes which meet Energy Star standards. Builders who meet Energy Star standards and install specified equipment will be eligible for prescriptive rebate amounts ranging from $300 - $800 per new home. Incentivized items include Energy Star inspection and certification costs, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and water heaters. Rebate amounts per home vary based upon which equipment is installed in new residences. See application form on the program web site for other rebate and eligibility information.
