Summary:
Southwest Electric Cooperative offers rebates to its customers that purchase energy efficient heating and air conditioning equipment . This program offers rebates for customers who buy Energy Star geothermal and dual fuel heat pumps, and room air conditioners. Heat pump rebates apply to new construction or replacement of an already existing heating system. An application form must be submitted to the utility, along with a copy of the original dated sales receipt, within 90 days of product purchase date. Customers who purchase an energy audit from Southwest Electric are eligible to receive an energy efficiency kit valued at $55 and to be reimbursed for 50% of the repairs made through the audit program, up to $500.
