The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Amount:Air-source Heat Pump: $330 - $630 depending upon rating
Air Conditioning: $30 - $330 for Energy Star with minimum efficiencies
HVAC Tune-Up: $50
Refrigerator: $75
Freezer: $75
Clothes Washer: $50
Off-Peak Water Heater: $200 - $300
Off-Peak Heating: $25 per KW
Dual Fuel Plenum Heater/Boiler: $200
Dual Fuel Geothermal Heat Pump: $100/ton
Dual Fuel Ductless/Mini Split Heat Pump: $200
Equipment Requirements:Dual Fuel Geothermal Heat Pumps: 16.2 EER (Open), 14.1 EER (Closed)
Air Conditioning/Air-Source Heat Pump and Appliances must be Energy Star rated
Installation Requirements:Rebates apply to new or replacement installations, and must be controlled on an approved Load Management program.

Crow Wing Power offers several different incentives for residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of homes. Rebates are available on air conditioners, air source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, water heaters, refrigerators and clothes washers. Rebates on heat pumps and air conditioners vary by system efficiency. In addition to these rebates, customers can also receive special electric rate reductions if they take part in one of Crow Wing Power's demand-shifting programs.
