Summary:
Dakota Electric Association provides incentives for residential customers to install energy efficient equipment in the home. Rebates are available for a variety of products including:
- Heat pumps (air-source and geothermal)
- Air conditioners (central and room unit)
- System tune-ups
- Electric heating
- ECM furnace motor
- Refrigerators and Freezers
- Lighting
Limited rebate funds are available, and rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Some incentives vary by the efficiency of the purchased equipment. Detailed program requirements and applications may be found on the web site listed above.
