The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Equipment Requirements:Air-Source Heat Pump/Central AC: 13 SEER minimum
Heat Pump Water Heater and Ductless Heat Pumps must be Energy Star
Installation Requirements:Air conditioning and heat pump rebates are offered exclusively through certified contractors
Customers installing ground source heat pumps must be enrolled in one of Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association's Off-Peak programs

Summary:

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association provides financial incentives for its residential customers to purchase and install energy efficient HVAC equipment. Rebates are offered for qualified geothermal, air source, and ductless heat pumps; central air conditioning; ECM motors; and heat pump water heaters. Rebates for air-source heat pumps and central air conditioners vary based upon system efficiency. All equipment must meet program requirements and be installed within Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association service territory. Rebates are issued as a credit on utility bills.
