The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Willmar Municipal Utilities - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Amount:Refrigerator: $50
Clothes Washer: $50
Dishwasher: $50
Central A/C: $200
Water Heater: $1.25/gallon (bonus $100 to convert to an electric water heater from another fuel source)
Equipment Requirements:Refrigerator, clothes washer, dishwasher and air conditioner must be ENERGY STAR rated
Water heater must be lifetime warranted, 85 or 105 gallon Marathon water heater.
Installation Requirements:In order to receive water heater rebate, customer must enroll in the Off-Peak water heater program.

Summary:

Willmar Municipal Utilities offer rebates on Energy Star rated appliances, air conditioners and Marathon water heaters. All equipment must be ENERGY STAR rated unless otherwise specified and equipment must meet program requirements. In addition to these rebates, WMU also offers a Load Sharing Program and several peak-shaving incentives. Participating customers can receive a $10 per month credit on electric bills if they allow their water heaters to be energized only from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM, and free load shifting equipment for air conditioners.
