The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Moorhead Public Service Utility offers the Bright Energy Solutions Programs for commercial and industrial customers that purchase and install qualifying energy-efficient lighting, VFDs, and cooling equipment in existing facilities. The lighting rebate program offers rebates on energy efficient fluorescent T8 or T5 lighting with electronic ballasts, high bays, high performance (super) T-8s, pulse-start metal halide, compact fluorescent lamps, LED exit signs, and lighting controls. The cooling equipment rebate program offers rebates on central air systems and chillers, packaged terminal units, window air units, heat pump water heaters, and other cooling accessories.

Rebates are also available for custom measures which reduce a facility's energy demand. Custom rebates are project specific. For each project, the rebate is designed to make implementing the energy-saving measure an attractive investment to the customer and at the same time, is limited by the value of energy savings to MPS. More information can be found on the web site listed above or on the Bright Energy Solutions web site.
