The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Amount:Forced-air furnaces: $150-$400
Natural gas boiler: $300-$500
Natural gas condensing boiler: $500
Natural gas water heater: $70-$350
Storage tank indirect water heater: $200
Energy Audit: Reduced Cost
Programmable thermostat installed with heating system: $25
Air Sealing/Weatherization: 50% of cost
Maximum Incentive:Air Sealing/Weatherization: $350
Equipment Requirements:Furnaces: 92%-93.9% AFUE ($150), 94%-95.9% AFUE ($300), 96% AFUE and higher ($400)
Boiler: 83.5% AFUE and higher
Condensing boiler: 91% AFUE or higher
Storage tank water heater: 0.62 EF and higher ($70), 0.64 EF and higher ($85), 0.67 EF and higher ($100)
Indirect water heater: Installed with an 91% AFUE or higher condensing boiler
Qualifying equipment includes atmospheric, power or direct vent models. Tankless and hybrid models do not qualify.

CenterPoint Energy offers residential high-efficiency heating system and water heater rebates to Minnesota customers. These systems can greatly enhance savings and performance in residences which install high efficiency equipment. All equipment requirements must be met in order to receive rebate. Rebate forms must be turned in by Dec 31, 2012. See program web site and application forms for other program details.
