The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Tankless Water Heater: Minimum EF of 0.82
Clothes Washer: Energy Star rated
Air Sealing: No tighter than 3.0 ACH50
Attic Insulation: R44 and bypass sealing
Sidewall Insulation: R13
Foundation Insulation: R7
Installation Requirements:All applications must be submitted within 60 days of installation

Summary:

Minnesota Energy Resources provides rebates to residential customers for the purchase of energy efficient natural gas equipment and set-back thermostats. Rebates are available for furnaces, boilers, integrated space and water heating systems, programmable thermostats, water heaters (tank and tankless), clothes washers, and drain water heat recovery devices. All equipment must meet certain efficiency standards listed on the program website. Purchases qualify for both new homes and renovations. The rebate application can be downloaded from the program web site. Applications are processed on a first- come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.
