|Amount:||Refrigerators: $100, plus $25 for disposal of old refrigerator|
Clothes Washers: $50 - $100
Dishwashers: $25 - $50
Room A/C Units: 50% of purchase price up to $50
Central A/C: $325 - $525, varies by efficiency and technology
Heat Pumps: $325 - $675, varies by efficiency and technology
Programmable Thermostat: up to 50% of the purchase price
Insulation Upgrade: 50% of the cost for the upgrade

|Eligible System Size:||Refrigerators: At least 14 cubic feet in capacity|
|Equipment Requirements:||All appliances must be ENERGY STAR rated|
Clothes Washers: MEF of 1.42 or greater
Central A/C: Minimum SEER of 13
Heat Pump: Minimum SEER of 13, minimum HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) of 8.5 and, it must have a TXV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve)
Marblehead Light Department encourages conservation within the residential sector through the Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. Rebates are available for energy efficient appliances, central A/C, heat pumps, programmable thermostats, dehumidifiers, and insulation. Rebate applications must be submitted to the utility within 12 months of equipment purchase date. Equipment eligibility and additional program requirements can be found in the rebate guide located on the program web site.
