Maximum Incentive:	70% of incremental cost of higher efficiency equipment, or an amount that buys down the incremental investment to a 1.5 year simple payback.

Equipment Requirements:	VSDs: Motors must operate a minimum of 2,000 hours annually.
Installation Requirements:	Pre-approval is required for incentive or rebate totals greater than $5,000

Summary:

MassSAVE organizes commercial, industrial, and institutional conservation services for programs administered by Massachusetts electric companies, gas companies and municipal aggregators. These utilities include Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, The Berkshire Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, National Grid, New England Gas Company, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. The programs are available to all customers which have a facility that buys its power from one of MassSAVE's member companies. Customers must notify their MassSAVE program administrator technical representative to arrange a pre-approval process. Custom applications require documentation and pre-approval of all measures.
