The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Income Qualified Home Weatherization: Free
Energy Efficiency Kit: Free
Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling: $40/unit
Window/Room Air Conditioner Recycling: $20/unit
Equipment Requirements:Refrigerator/Freezer: Between 10 and 30 cubic feet in size and in working order. Limit 2.
Window/Room Air Conditioner: Must be picked up with a refrigerator or freezer and operable. Limit 2.

Indianapolis Power and Light Company offers energy incentive programs to assist residential customers with reducing energy consumption. The programs offer incentives for CFLs, and older, inefficient refrigerators, freezers, and window/room A/C units. Home energy assessments, including the direct installation of CFLs, energy efficient sink aerators, and showerheads, as well as energy efficiency kits are also available. Multifamily building owners are also eligible for the direct installation of faucet aerators, showerheads and CFL bulbs in each apartment or unit.
