Summary:

LaGrange County REMC, in conjunction with the Wabash Valley Power Association's Power Moves program, offers a variety of rebates for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment. A standard $300 rebate is available for heat pump units installed in a permanent residence or business within LaGrange County REMC’s territory. Additional HVAC rebates are available to commercial and residential customers, and vary by system size, efficiency and customer class. A wide range of lighting rebates for lamps, fixtures, signals, and sensors is also offered. Finally, specific rebate programs for efficient agriculture and school equipment are provided. Commercial projects not covered by prescriptive rebate programs may qualify for custom incentives.

For residential customers only, LaGrange County REMC offers rebates to residential customers who purchase heat pumps, heat pump water heaters and efficient lighting. Heat pump incentive amounts vary by size and efficiency, as well as by the system being replaced. LaGrange REMC also provides a $35 rebate for the proper recycling of an older refrigerator unit.
