The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Citizens Gas - Residential Efficiency Rebates

Amount:Furnace: $150 - $250
Duct Sealing: total cost up to $400
Wall Insulation: 40% of total cost up to $450
Attic Insulation: 40% of total cost up to $450
Natural Gas Residential Boiler: $300
Programmable Thermostat: $20
Equipment Requirements:Furnace: 92% AFUE or higher ($150); 95% AFUE or higher ($250)
Wall Insulation: less than or equal to R-5 initial and greater than or equal to R-13 final
Attic Insulation: greater than or equal to R-11 initial and less than or equal to R-38 final
Natural Gas Residential Boiler: 90% AFUE or higher
Programmable Thermostat: digital with wake, day, evening, and sleep daily settings; weekday vs. weekend setting; override or hold setting
Installation Requirements:Customers must choose a program-approved contractor to qualify for insulation and duct sealing rebates.

Citizens Gas of Indiana offers rebates to its residential customers for the installation of several types of efficient natural gas appliances, improvements to attic and wall insulation, and duct sealing. 

Rebate applications, including a copy of all equipment invoices, must be postmarked within 60 days of equipment purchase. Equipment must have been purchased in 2014. Citizens Gas reserves the right to verify sales and installation of eligible products and may conduct random site inspections for this purpose.
