Water Heaters: must have a .90 Energy Factor or greater, dual elements (max. 5,500 watts), and a temperature and pressure relief valve installed

Summary:
Bartholomew County Rural Electric Membership (BCREM) Cooperative provides its residential customers with rebates for geothermal and air source heat pumps, central air conditioners, and new high efficiency electric water heaters. Equipment must meet certain energy efficiency standards listed above and on the BCREM web site. Customers must show proof of sale, make, serial and model numbers, size of unit, and energy efficiency rating for the qualifying equipment installed.
