The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Atmos Energy (Gas) - Residential Efficiency Program

Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Furnaces , Boilers, Caulking/Weather-stripping, Windows, Tankless Water Heaters
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Low-Income Residential
Amount:Furnace lowest $250, $325, or $400
Boiler: $150 or $400
Condensing Water Heater: $300
Storage Water Heater: $75
Tankless Water Heater: $300
Equipment Requirements:Forced Air Furnace: 92% AFUE or greater on a system of 30,000 BTUs or greater
Boiler: 85% AFUE or greater on a system of 30,000 BTUs or greater
Storage Water Heater: 0.62 EF or greater on a 40 gallon tank or greater
Condensing Water Heater: .90 EF or greater for a 40 gallon or greater system
Tankless Model: 0.82 EF or greater
Installation Requirements:Installed equipment must be new and Energy Star qualified; a separate form should be filled out for each technology.

As of August 1, 2012, Iowa energy efficiency programs are offered by Liberty Utilities.

Atmos Energy provides rebates for residential natural gas heating equipment through their High Efficiency Rebate Program. When Atmos Receives the High-Efficiency Rebate Installation and Verification Form with a customer's Atmos Energy account number, recent Atmos Energy utility bills, and dated purchase receipts/proof of installation for the eligible equipment, they will issue a check within 10 weeks. Customers must submit a separate form for each desired rebate. Customers on residential rates 310-RS-1, 311-RL-1 or Small Commercial 320-CS-1 are eligible to participate. Forms and authorized dealers can be found on the web site above.
