The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Summary:
Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative Association (Linn County RECA) is a member-owned cooperative. To encourage energy efficiency, Linn County offers a number of equipment rebates to agricultural customers. Qualifying agricultural customers are eligible to receive rebates on geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, central air conditioning, a variety of dairy equipment, heat lamps and pads, equipment controls, recovery ventilators, circulation fans, motors, variable speed drives, lighting equipment, electric water heaters, and various Energy Star appliances. All program rules, equipment requirements, and procedures must be met in order to receive rebates. View the program web site to locate important equipment requirements and program information.
