Rebates are offered for improvements in 5 different categories: Lighting in New Construction; Lighting Retrofits; Cooling/Chillers; Motors, Pumps, and Variable Frequency Drives; and Custom Measures. Prescriptive rebates are available for many types of equipment and custom rebates are based on the average demand reduction from June-September. Equipment requirements and rebate levels vary by the technology employed and are available on the rebate applications.

All equipment must be new and rebates may not be honored for equipment ordered, purchased, or installed prior to the receipt of rebate approval. Custom rebates are limited to $100,000 per customer per calendar year and have minimum application value of $500. Payments for rebates larger than $100,000 may be paid out over the course of multiple years. Prescriptive rebates in each of the first 4 categories that are larger than $10,000 must be pre-approved by the utility. In general, rebates may not exceed 75% of the purchased cost of the new equipment.

All applicants should contact their utility to confirm customer eligibility and the availability of funds prior to applying under any program. For further information, please consult the program website listed at the top of this page or contact utility representatives.
