The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Central Air Conditioner/Air Source Heat Pumps: $200, plus efficiency incentive
Geothermal Heat Pumps: Cooling Btuh/12,000 x $700, plus $200 for Desuperheater
Lamps and Fixtures: $2 - $25/unit
Occupancy and Daylight Sensors: $10/sensor
LED Exit Signs: $10/sign
Maximum Incentive:Appliances: 50% of equipment cost per unit
Lighting: Will not exceed equipment cost per unit, (contact AED about incentives expected to exceed $10,000)
Power Factor Correction Equipment: Incentives over $15,000 will be examined on case by case basis

The Ames Electric Department provides free energy audits and multiple energy efficiency rebates for commercial and industrial customers. The rebate programs available include: The Appliance Rebate Program, The High Efficiency Heat Pump Program, The Power Factor Correction Rebate Program, and the High Efficiency Lighting Program. All programs require that the customer submit a completed application form within 30 days of equipment installation. Clothes washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, power factor correction equipment, light upgrades, sensors and custom measures are eligible for rebates under this program. .
