The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Diverse Power - Energy Efficient Existing Homes Rebate Program

Amount:Electric Heat Pump: $100/system
Gas to Electric Heat Pump Switch: $300
Dual Fuel Heat Pump: $250/system
Geothermal Heat Pump: $250/ton
Electric Water Heaters: $75 - $150/unit
Gas to Electric Water Heater Switch: $300 - $500
Waste Heat Recovery Unit: $250/house
Equipment Requirements:Electric water heater must be at least 30-gallon capacity and have dual heating elements
Tankless water heaters are not eligible for rebate
Installation Requirements:All rebate requests must be submitted for installations that have been completed for no more than three months

Summary:
Diverse Power is a member-owned electric cooperative that provides electric service to customers in Troup, Harris, Heard, Meriwether, Muscogee and Coweta counties in Georgia. Diverse Power offers a number of rebates to homeowners for purchasing and installing energy-efficient measures, such as heat pumps, water heaters, heat recovery systems, and for replacing natural gas heat pumps and water heaters with electric systems. Participating customers must complete and submit the Existing Homes Rebate Application with a paid receipt for installed equipment. Rebates for water heaters increase depending on what kind of system is being replaced by the new efficient system purchase.
